Getting To Siboya Bungalows
:: So I'm at the Krabi airport... now what?
1) If you have pre-arranged transport from the airport... someone will meet you to take you to Siboya Bungalows.

Please be sure to make prior arrangements when booking if you want to be met at the airport and taken to Siboya Bungalows (cost 1000 baht for 1 or 2 persons )

You will go by private car from the airport to Laem Hin, then a walk on private long-tail ferry will take you (10 min) across to Ko Siboya. Here a truck will meet you to take you to the Bungalows.
2) If you arrive in Krabi and want to go to Siboya Bungalows on your own, you should go to the Siboya Office in Krabi town.

Tell the Office/Restaurant staff which songtaew (local bus) you want to take to Siboya Bungalows. They leave three times daily to Laem Hin at 11:00am, 1:00pm and 4:00pm (Sundays only 4:00pm). The one way cost is 100 baht/pp (2012). The trip from Krabi Town to the Laem Hin pier will take about an hour.

From Laem Hin there is always a public walk on long-tail ferry to take you across to Ko Siboya. (no schedule, they go when they have passengers) The cost should be about 20-40 baht/pp (2012).

If you made these arrangements with the Office/Restaurant staff in Krabi, a truck should meet you on the other side to take you to the 10Km Siboya Bungalows (50 baht/pp).

If you arrive here on your own (without going into Krabi) then you'll have to find someone with a cell phone to call the Bungalows (075-618-026) or hitch-hike on a motor cycle... everyone one the island is very friendly just ask... Oh, and don't forget to offer a tip!

:: Are you just transiting Bangkok and want to stay near the Airport?
• The Sananwan Palace... is a great budget place... very friendly.
• A little more upscale... is the Thong Ta Resort but the price includes pickup & breakfast. (just go to door 4 on the arrivals floor, ask anyone about Thong Ta, staff are there 24hr to arrange transfer to the hotel) This by far the easiest choice.
